Compliance with today’s health and safety practice is essential; thorough site-specific risk assessments and structured method statements guide the more complex work. Our specialist team members are fully qualified and there is always a trained First Aider on every site.

We are fully insured for both Employer’s and Public Liability. Our vehicles and equipment are checked regularly according to health and safety regulations PUWER (Provision and Use of Equipment Regulations 1992) and LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment regulations 1998).

Recent Assignments

The Riverside Leisure Site

Contacted urgently when a member of the public was injured by a failing tree limb, we attended the site immediately and made the tree safe, clearing away substantial quantities of fallen wood so that the business could continue to operate.

Next, we produced a detailed report of the condition of the tree stock (circa 400 trees) on the site. We identified approximately 30 trees requiring remedial works or felling and produced a comprehensive ongoing management plan for the remainder.

The work was completed efficiently, with minimum disruption to the operation and reassurance to the Health and Safety, leadership and insurance teams that tree stock was once more carefully managed across the site.

The Central London Government Agency

Completed a thorough report and recommendations on the safety and ongoing management of the tree stock surrounding a high profile and secure central London office block and car park.

Requiring significant security clearance and safety checking, we recommended and implemented an approach to maintain the aesthetic value of the trees whilst removing the obstructions caused by the trees to security cameras, cars and buildings.

The Restaurant

Plagued by pests nesting under the roots of a mature tree growing up against a charming old brick wall, we were asked to recommend a course of action to remove the tree and therefore the pest problem, but maintain the viability of the wall.

Liaising with the pest control experts, we surveyed and then undertook this work promptly and discretely with no impact to the business.

The Large Pub Garden

Infested with the notoriously prolific Japanese Knotweed, we undertook a year’s programme of successful eradication to prevent any further spread from spoiling the investment made by this pub management team in their outside space.
