This is Oliver, and some great pictures of him practicing his climbing at Sparsholt College where he is studying his Level 2 qualification in Arboriculture. Oliver works with us when he’s not at college and is making good strides in building his skills, knowledge and experience in the business, and learning how to be a really effective, contributing member of the team.
There’s a shortage of people coming in the industry and so we’re always delighted to be able to offer a bit of advice and guidance, and to provide practical experience placements where we can support them.
Oliver has always dreamt of being an arborist, and he’s well on his way. But there’s a wide range of careers in the industry and a genuinely broad career path for anyone who wants to progress. One of our team members is studying to take his career down the consultancy route in the next few years, and he brings his interest and new knowledge to assignments in our business while he’s doing that.
